Frankie Morello, the defect as an artistic detail

ABBIGLIAMENTO MODA NEGOZIO LISSONE FRANKIE MORELLO LISSONE
Frankie Morello was founded in 1999 by designers Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti , the first with a past as a choreographer, set designer and costume designer, but also a designer at Alessi. The second, graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan with a thesis entitled " Dress as architecture of the body ", boasts experiences in Stockholm, New York and Tokyo. Initially oriented towards sportswear (exclusively for men), Morello then expanded production to men's and women's Prêt-à-porter. Subsequently, a line of swimwear and one for children were also launched; the first flagship store was inaugurated in 2009 in Milan. The brand immediately attracted the attention of prestigious international magazines and important buyers, but has maintained a strong identity and personality to this day, demonstrating the maturation and evolution of the designers. The brand's philosophy takes into consideration a defect , that defect perceived as an artistic detail, the imperfection that can be worn, structured and destructured. Order is born from disorder , the disturbance arises from a mixture of fabrics, themes, colors and settings. It is a refined balance of opposites, in which small details become characteristic elements of a dress. Frankie Morello is chosen by top boutiques, appears in prestigious publications and is a favourite brand of many celebrities , to name a few: Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga , Rhianna, Arisa, Nesli, Emma Marrone and Nicki Minaj.
