Fay Spring Summer 2016 Fashion Show - Milan Fashion Week

We open our Milan Fashion Week with the splendid Fay Spring Summer 2016 Fashion Show . A modern and minimal location hosts the Show, where there is no shortage of personalities from the world of fashion, buyers, bloggers and fashion influencers. The collection is energetic and vibrant, Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Raimondi revisit the history of the Fay brand in a 70s key through bright prints, handcrafted embroidery and treated fabrics. Each single piece has a unique, lived-in, absolutely personalized look. The Paisley design is the undisputed star of the season, it is a motif of ancient Persian origin that has become an icon of elegance for English and Italian fashion. It is with this unique and historic design that the iconic safari jacket of the Fay brand, Victoria , takes on a new light. A play of inlays and embroidery gives femininity and refinement to each garment, the volumes are soft , in a perfect balance between shape and decoration. The dresses are fluid and pearly, with overlapping embroidery and bright prints. The denim is straight-legged and revolutionizes its identity as a casual garment, becoming a unique and special piece in the women's wardrobe. As for the colors: blue, khaki, burgundy and mustard are the masters. Shades that characterize pieces that are easy to wear and mix together, creating unique combinations and overlays . The bags express a lived-in look thanks to the treated suede and leather, enriched with elegant inlays , studs and embroidery. The shoes: mid-thigh boots , with or without embroidery, or men's lace-ups and ultra-flat sandals.
