“I have always been fascinated by my mother and how she knew how to create the perfect dress with just paper, scissors and fabric”. Manuela Mariotti followed in her mother’s footsteps: a strong interest in fashion, as a child she carefully observed the work of her mother’s skilled hands, employed as a seamstress in the family shop. It was 1999 that with the help of Massimo Berloni the Dondup brand was born, a Manuela Mariotti brand that takes its name from an ancient Tibetan monk, Mingyar Dondup.
